Marjie Hampson is a salesperson, and her schedule is usually so busy that it forces her to eat meals in her vehicle between meetings. Often times she would stop at a fast-food drive-through, but Marjie knew she risked staining her clothes when eating in a hurry. In either case, Marjie needed to be extra careful to avoid showing up for client meetings with stained clothes. Making a stop at home to change her stained clothes was never an option. Placing napkins on her lap and tucking them below the seatbelt would be helpful, but the truth is that this strategy wasn’t foolproof since crumbs and spills would still happen. That’s when Marjie Hampson was inspired to design and develop the LAPNAP.
